TUSC (Tufts University Spirit Coalition) is all about celebrating one thing: Jumbo pride! Every year, we help build school spirit at Tufts by planning fun and creative campus-wide events that bring together the entire community. TUSC’s major annual events include the Homecoming Pep Rally, Mr. Jumbo and Tuftonia’s Day (before Spring Fling).

The fall Homecoming Pep Rally brings Tufts students together to celebrate our teams and cheer them on during Homecoming weekend. At the Pep Rally, we reveal the Homecoming King & Queen (as chosen by Tufts student voters!).
The Mr. Jumbo competition is a talent contest that showcases the most spirited students through a hilarious battle of wardrobe, talent and trivia. Students of all ages are invited to compete before our Tufts celebrity judges.
Tuftonia’s Day takes place the day before Spring Fling. We turn Tufts into a carnival – with rides, games, give-aways and tons of food. Once the sun sets, we celebrate the end of the year with our fireworks show on the Rez Quad.
